Hello Jazzie-
We are providers for many types of insurances including Ohio Medicaid, Medical Mutual and United Healthcare. Please give us a call and our Admissions Coordinator will assist you in finding out if your benefits apply.
Looking for family counseling have insurance through United Healthcare. Which counselor would be recommended and we have seen someone in the past but the day hours didn’t work and need times available after 5p.
We have hours available from 9 am to 7 pm to accommodate a large range of scheduling needs. We have therapists who work with United Health Care-both the traditional and Ohio Medicaid plans. Please call our office and talk to an Admissions Counselor who can find the best fit for your needs. I appreciate the question!
Thanks for reaching out. We do provide couple counseling for anyone in a relationship regardless of status. We are not providers for Anthem but do give clients the opportunity to self pay for services. I would check with your insurance to see what they would cover or if you could get reimbursed for any money spent.
Hi! My name is Chaste Chapman! I am a senior at Youngstown State University currently studying Psychology. I am a student who is aspired to become a Case manager and/ Counselor and is seeking to have some experience in the field so by the tome a graduate, I will have a better time with getting a job. Is there a way I could become an Intern here? I am willing to do anything. Thanks so much!
Hello!
I admire the determination and ambition. We will be happy to talk to you about a possible Internship when enrolled in a Master’s Program for Counseling. In order to see clients, a Student License status must be obtained from the Counselor and Social Worker’s Board. This usually happens at the beginning of your second year in graduate school. When you get to that time, please give us a call. I like your spirit!
Thanks so much! Can I have a informal internship where I can learn on the job and just observe you all?
Because of confidentiality, we do not have observations. When you become a graduate student, you will get to see clients as a clinician in your Practicum with consents given by clients. We want our clients to build rapport with their therapists and as you can imagine, having someone observe their private session can be intrusive. I am available to answer any questions about being a full time therapist if you want information to make a decision about the choice to attend further schooling or stick with case management at graduation. Good luck!
Okay! I graduate in the fall of 2019! Could I possibly come by and meet some of the therapists and talk to them who have gone through what I am going through now and also, could I talk to some case managers?
Make an appointment with me sometime that works for you. 330-372-2200. I will be happy to answer any questions! I have worked in the field for 25 years and can share what I have learned. Others in the office can do the same! Melissa Montgomery
Good afternoon. I am looking to submit my resume as I am looking for employment. I am wondering if there are any part time or full time Counseling positions available. Thank you in advance.
You can send your resume to fax number 330-372-2200. We will be in contact if your qualifications meet any openings we have. Good luck with your search!
